Welcome to Top Tails

Structured Behaviour. Calm Dogs. Capable Handlers.

Professional Dog Training & Behaviour Consultancy Dunblane | Stirling | Central Scotland

Top Tails Dogs provides structured, professional support for dog training behaviour change, calm group socialisation and residential care.

All work is delivered through clear handling, calm leadership, and proven behavioural structure to create reliable, stable dogs in everyday life.

Founded and led by Brian Irwin, Top Tails Dogs focuses on practical, outcome-based behaviour work rather than quick fixes or trend-based training.

Sessions are structured, measured, and tailored to each dog and handler to build long-term reliability, confidence, and calm control in real-world environments.

Testimonials

We have enjoyed our visits from Brian, Monet and friends. The children loved meeting the dogs. Brian is good with the children and good at explaining and reassuring them especially the nervous and scared ones. The nervous children also learnt from their peers as they could see there was nothing to be frightened about and were reassured enough to go up to meet Monet and play with him.

Therapy dogs can reduce stress and anxiety and have a calming effect on people. Dogs offer emotional comfort as well as being friendly and cuddly! Monet is a calm, gentle and friendly dog who loves a game of tug.
